To celebrate Pride Month, Drag It Out is taking over The Ritzy for one unforgettable day of queer celebration & creativity, and you're invited!
On Sunday 28th June, for International LGBT Pride Day, we're filling every corner of The Ritzy with colour and community. We've put together a programme designed to celebrate every part of our incredible community, with events for all ages and all kinds of Pride celebrations. From crafts and drag story time to short films and live performances, you won't want to miss it!
Plus thanks to our friends at Snaparazzi, our photobooth will be in rainbow free mode! So you'll have plenty of chances to capture the magic.

Drag story time & face paint
Free┃ 2pm┃ Children of all ages welcome.
A selection of wonderful fairytales read by exciting drag artists to capture the attention of younger friends of the Ritzy. With glitter and face paint stations available for all!
Crafts Club

Make your own badges & flags with our collaging materials. Enjoy the sunshine that hits the Ritzy bar just right while you meet new people in the community.
Love Isn't Straight Forward. A collection of six LGBTQ+ short films.

Across six bold and deeply personal shorts, this programme explores queer desire, identity and belonging through stories of first love, chosen family, nightlife, cultural expectation, addiction, ageing, and the quiet courage it takes to live authentically.Followed by a Q&A with the creative teams from the films hosted by Rasheed Bailey (Iris Prize, Raindance, Outfest, NewFest, InsideOut).
